Our life here on earth is not primarily for the sake of fun, but it seems that is the chief ambition of many church people. God has us here to honor Him, and this requires dedicated work. This is a responsibility of our every day lives and the main purpose of every local church. For our church to carry the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ we must work together. For us to work together we must love one another. The bottom line is we need each other so we can all work together in carrying the Gospel of our Lord. Our Lord forged a strong link between Christian love and cooperation in our church. The largest threat in our church in cooperation is lack of love between us. Also the chief ambition of having fun together harms our effect for Christ. We are to be servants of Jesus Christ (v.1) and it’s true meaning is that of slaves. Slaves were possessions of their owners. Their masters made their decisions, schedules and told them what to do and what not to do. The masters owned and controlled their lives. We are told in this work we are saints v-1. This means we are set apart unto God
If we are a Christian we too, are a saint. When we trusted Christ as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit set us apart for Christ. The way we live our daily lives must reflect that we are set apart unto our Lord. Our ambitions, attitudes, actions, vocabulary, and views are to be different from others who are not set apart. What we think of other Christians stated in (v. 3& 4). They are to take a positive position in our hearts and minds. The reason is found in V. 5 fellowship in the gospel. It’s not in times of coffee and cookies but Joint participation in the Lords work. We in our local church are partners with other Christians in the ministry of the Gospel of our Lord. We cooperate by thanking God and praying for our fellow church members, pastors, and missionaries as we think of them. We are to cooperate financially, serving and praying together. We are to lose of love and allow our love to abound toward others. As we govern our relationships with love we will be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ v.10. These righteous acts are only made possible by our Lord Jesus Christ. v.11. DO WE:
I would like to introduce you to our New Missionaries, Charles & Patricia Azbell from Rochester, IN. They worked here in Florida they are here in the winter and are going back to Indiana to open the state with Campsite Evangelism, Inc trying to get services in R.V. Parks in Indiana.
We also have working at R.V. Parks in Florida this year is Rev. Donald and Carrie Perna from West Helifax Vermont, and Donald & Joan Hammett of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. We also have Charlie Chance from right here in Wildwood, Florida having a service in a R.V. Park in Wildwood. We praise the Lord for these new men and their wives.
We had our banquet here in Florida on March 7, 2008 with 180 reservations but 155 in attendance when it was just about time to start we had a real bad thunderstorm and also tornado warnings so that helped people to stay home. We had a good time and Praise the Lord that all of our expenses were meet. Pastor Jim Poyner had a very challenging message.
. We also had our Board Meeting on March 8, 2008 with all Board Members present and they are: Rev. Rich Chamblee - Spring Hill, Florida , Wes Danley Comstock Park, Michigan, Dr. Jack Long Hudson, Florida, Lonnie Miller Port Richey, Florida, Robert Muldoon Spring Hill, Florida, Rev. Raymond H. Willis - Spring Hill, Florida, Rev. Charles Sawatsky Prince Eddie Island, Canada. We praise the Lord for these dedicated men.
We have had some problems here at headquarters this winter. We had to put in a water softner because of the water had some contamination in it and we are on a well. Then the bladder in the wells holding tank broke and the pump kept running and burned out the pump. We had to get a new tank and pump. The stove in the kitchen was to hot you would burn every thing you cooked, had a service man check it and said it would cost $300.00 to repair it. The service man said he would buy a new one if it was him. He gave us a $65.00 coupon for Sears and we went and looked at the new ones and we purchased one for $524.99 minus coupon. Sears delivered the new one and disposed of the old one.
News News from Margie Jesus Loves You! Do You Know JESUS? Do You Love JESUS? Campsite Evangelism, Inc Volume 5 Issue 1 March 2008
News from Margie Let me tell you about a little stranger that came to visit us. His name is FLAT STANLEY, of course he is made out of paper and came folded up in an envelope. Believe Me! It seems he was flattened when a bulletin board fell on him and this is the only way he could find adventures. We were to show him around town and introduce him to our friends. Well! We took him to Dunkin Donuts and he was a great P.R. person. We took him to a fenced in army tank, which he decided to crawl over the fence to get a better look. (It took a stick to get him back under the fence, because we were scared we would get caught). He was given a talking to, and he promised not to do it again. There were some antique cars in a parking lot, so we decided that Stanley would like to have a picture of them. Found out the man had done the same thing. After that we took him to a saw mill, orange grove, and a church picnic. There a little girl thought he was cute and ran away with him. We had to rescue him before he was tossed in the lake, which was dried up. Anyway it would have looked funny for us to crawl down to get him. The last picture we took of Stanley was having Bible time with us. Stanley was told the A-B-C’s of Salvation because grandpa is a preacher for Campsite Evangelism, Inc.
A All have sinned.
B Believe on Jesus Christ.
C Confess your sins before Him.
Let me tell you something; if you are a Christian, and your brother, sister, mother, father, friends or neighbors don’t know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior don’t be afraid to tell them the way to heaven. Perhaps they were just waiting for YOU to tell them. So what if they get mad at you, at least you did your part by telling them. Well Stanley was tired of running around with old folks, playing rummy and dominoes, so he decided to go north where there were younger people. Perhaps go skate boarding in Atlanta, Georgia. Beware grandparents and great grandparents Stanley could be coming your way.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Psalm 100
I TRUST YOU LORD
I trust you Lord
I know your thoughts toward me are of good not evil
I fear evil not you
.Yet fearing wild I know that even evil from Your hand purest good.
I fear
I trust
I trust You Lord
I trust Your wisdom life spanning
Your Love death taming.
I I trust You to know the end of this long beginning moment.By Joseph Bayly
I Corinthians 3:18 4:1
Let a man consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God I Corinthians 4:1
The master needs what you have to offer, No matter if you think it’s small His work on earth is done thru His children.
So give Him your best, give your all! At the beginning of each day and throughout the day, whisper a prayer, committing yourself, asking God to guide you and thanking Him for His help.
